Confession & Forgiveness
Let us confess our sins together.
Most merciful God, we confess that we are in bondage to sin and cannot free ourselves. We have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done and by what we have left undone. We have not loved You with our whole heart: we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. For the sake of Your Son, Jesus Christ, have mercy on us. Forgive us, renew us, and lead us, so that we may delight in Your will and walk in Your ways, to the glory of Your holy name. Amen.
Our Almighty and Merciful God grants to you, being penitent, forgiveness for all your sins. May He bless you with time to change your ways, and with the wisdom and strength of His Holy Spirit.

Almighty God, to whom all hearts are open, all desires known, and from whom no secrets are hid: Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of Your Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love You and worthily magnify Your holy name, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Announcements
Year-end giving statements were mailed to everyone who gave in 2024 early last week. If you have any questions about your statement, you can email our financial coordinator Carolyn Dundas at finance@flcspencer.org
Our annual congregational meeting will be held January 26th immediately following the worship service. A few items will include approving the 2025 budget and voting on a constitutional revision. The agenda and annual report are available as of this Sunday, January 12th.
Please help Luella Unseth celebrate her 95th birthday by coming to her Open House at Riverview Terrace, 3-5pm this Friday (January 24).
The Lutheran World Relief (LWR) Missions Team is selling God's Creation calendars for $10 each. All proceeds go to purchase quilting and kit supplies to replace those lost in the flood. Questions? See Gayle Simons or Linda Susie.
