Prayer of the Day
Holy Spirit, you are the giver of many gifts which God wants to give us personally. Open our hearts and minds today as we remember our own Confirmation and bless these young people who will be confirmed. Help them to know that you are confirming your love and goodness to them. You are calling them to a life of blessing and service. Increase their desire, and our desire, to know and follow Jesus as your disciples with a grateful and courageous heart. Amen.

Congregational prayer:
Merciful God, thank You for salvation in Jesus Christ. Thank You that the Holy Spirit empowered these young people to respond to Your grace and confess faith in You. Give them a hunger to know You in love, by reading Your Word and worshipping each Sunday. Help them stand against temptation. In the midst of a difficult world, guide them by Your Spirit. Comfort them with Your Presence. When they are weak, lift them up in Your power. When they fail, call them back to Your forgiveness. Use them as Your servants to reach the world with Your healing love. Give them courage to follow Jesus Christ and live by their convictions. Grant them joy in Your Presence.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Announcements
Confirmation Sunday is this Sunday, April 27. Our three confirmands this year are Emorie Cooke, Kinnick Friedrich, and Isaac Storley.
April 27 is also the Sunday School Finale for our children’s Sunday school students, and there will be games, Bible Trivia, and a snack for all the kids.
Next Sunday, May 4, will be New Member Sunday. We look forward to welcoming our new members into the family of Faith!
Congratulations to this year's First Communion Students! These students have gone through First Communion Classes and received their first communion on Maundy Thursday, April 17. Penelope Hoppe, Audrey Maaland, Miles Rouse, Isaac Rouse, Savannah Ruhs, Katelyn Rye, Silas Simington, Aaron Storley, and Joey Vos*.
*Joey will receive his first communion on Sunday, May 4th, as his family had a schedule conflict on Maundy Thursday.
