Projector Fundraiser Update
Due to the flooding of our building, the replacement of the projector system is currently on hold as we focus and repairing and replacing many other aspects of our building. This page will be updated if and when the fundraising resumes for the projector project.
Why do we need new projectors?
Our current projector system is 13 years old and is starting to fail. Projector systems similar to ours are only anticipated to have a 10 - 15 year lifespan. Beginning stages of failure are evident in communication issues between the projector and computer. This results in temporary loss of signal, which creates blue or blank screens. This and similar issues are likely to become more frequent as the system continues to age.
Why are we getting two projectors?
We want to provide a welcoming environment for our members and guests. However, worshippers frequently mention an obstructed view of the screen. Currently, 50 seats are unable to see the whole screen due to a pole or other obstruction, which would be resolved by adding a second screen.
